Learning Model: Reflective and Experimental Development

Whilst teaching at HMP Durham it became evident that a learning model, specific to teaching art, would prove beneficial when discussing a reflective and experimental art practice. This was evidenced to be of great value when working with individuals as well as in a group.

It also proved to be very effective when used across a porfolio of work as well as helping to develop the work of learners who maybe operating within a comfort zone.

The learning model was discussed at the International Journal of Art and Design Education conference, held at Glasgow School of Art in November 2015.
