China - Baishiqiao from Xiawan

This drawing was made in 2019 and is a very dark image. I had lived in China for about a year - at the time I was very conscious of shadows and what they may be hiding. The drawing was made in pen and ink it was changed many times - some of the applications are quite brutal and this reflects a very different time when these buildings were made.
